Who can apply?

  • Governments of UNESCO Member States and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in official partnership with UNESCO can nominate. Nominations can be of up to three individuals, institutions or organizations who have strong contributions for girls’ and women’s education.
  • The establishment of project and its running should be for at least two years. Moreover, the project should show potential to be replicable and scalable, and contribute to priority areas (impact, innovation and sustainability) of the Prize.
