Technovation has been organized in Cambodia by USAID’s Development Innovations since 2014. The program has helped more than 400 Cambodians learn how to identify a problem in their community and learn coding and practical business development skills to develop a mobile app to address the problem. The YIP is a professional development opportunity for young Cambodian innovators to build real-world skills that help define, design and create solutions to solve local problems. Young Innovators work alongside technical mentors at DI, and support defined projects focused on addressing development challenges through ICTs.

This partnership equipped NGO consortium Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) with the skills and capacity to assess demand from its members and deliver effective ICT-related services to its members and other target customers. DI supported CCC with technical and capacity building support over 18 months from 2016-2018.
