Junior Administrator Posted on: June 10, 2019 Title: Junior Administrator Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodian Period of Performance: June 24, 2019 – November 27, 2019 Background Development Innovations (DI) is a six-year USAID-funded project that helps civil society organizations, technology companies, social enterprises and young innovators to design and use information and communications technology (ICT) solutions and employ innovative processes to tackle Cambodia’s development challenges. Responsibility Summary The Junior Admin supports the operational, administrative and program needs of the DI team. During the final year of the project, the Admin Assistant will support inventory management, project operations and periodic review of DI procurement and HR files, taking corrective action when necessary. Eventually, the Junior Admin will likely transition to help close program grant files and assist in the closedown of the 6-year Development Innovations project. S/he will carry out all duties and functions according to DAI’s policies and procedures and USAID requirements, ensuring project-wide adherence to DAI documentation and compliance. This position will also support the project with employee closedown activities, including: Management and support for HR files and processes; Update and maintain the DI system for personnel files, elevating any gaps or issues and recommending corrective action; Inventory review and management of new inventory items prior to disposition; Support the Admin and Procurement Officer, Operations Manager and other DI project staff with administrative tasks, office management and program events as requested. Closing project activities and project files as required during the final year of DI implementation; Perform other duties as assigned by Admin and Procurement Officer and Operations Manager Liaise with the Operations Manager to submit the reports to all relevant government ministries and other stakeholder as stated in the MOUs. Qualifications and Experience: At least 1 years of work experience in Grants and Admin, recruitment, and other relevant areas. Knowledge of local laws and donor rules and regulations related to personnel management and compliance; USAID experience is highly preferred. Previous experience with HR teams. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Excellent writing, speaking, and reading skills in English and Khmer. Reporting: This position reports to the Admin and Procurement Officer.
